Spring Is Just Around the Corner

Winter has been dragging on and on, but March brings us a glimmer of hope that spring might be just around the corner. Of course, before we can all take advantage of the beautiful weather, we've got to pull ourselves out of our winter funk.

This month I look forward to in-depth discussions at Council Chambers about the Multisport Fieldhouse, Climate Strategy, and downtown revitalization. If you have thoughts or ideas, you'd like to share with me, reach out to my office at ward7@calgary.ca.

To those who observe, happy International Women's Day (March 8), St. Patrick's Day (March 17), Nowruz (March 20), Vernal Equinox (March 20), and World Down Syndrome Awareness Day (March 21). I also want to note that on March 22, Ramadan begins a month-long journey of fasting and prayer to encourage spiritual growth, reflection and compassion for others. Ramadan Mubarak to all who observe!

Sincerely,

Terry Wong (He/Him), Ward 7 Councillor
