Your 2023 Property Assessment notice has been mailed. This marks the beginning of the Review Period which will last until March 13, 2023. When you receive your notice, you can evaluate the assessment for accuracy, fairness and equity. Your assessment reflects the market value of your property on July 1, 2022, as well as the characteristics and physical condition of your property on December 31, 2022. For help reviewing your assesment, you can visit calgary.ca/assessmentsearch in order to:
- Check the property details used to determine the value
- Update your property details
- Compare your assessed value to other properties in your area to ensure fairness
- Review real estate market trends and learn more about assessment
- Use the property tax calculator to estimate your 2023 Property Tax and see where your tax dollars go
- Reminder: March 13th is the final day to dispute your assessment with the Assessment Review Panel
