This week, I asked Administration about the discrepancies between the Provincial Restriction Exemption Program (REP) and Calgary’s Vaccine Passport bylaw (65M2021), which includes the requirement for minors to produce ID along with their vaccine confirmation. They are working towards aligning our bylaw with the province and are expected to report back to Council at the first meeting of the new year, on January 11. We are hopeful that this will make it far easier for both businesses and parents staying on top of the changes.
